Sunrise and tithi boundaries are calculated for the displayed coordinates and timezone by our calendar service. This calendar uses Amanta months and Chaitra-start Vikram Samvat.

The Lahiri sidereal correction is approximate; month labels, nakshatra and yoga are estimates. Regional calendar conventions and festival dates can differ.

Solar and lunar eclipses are calculated for your location; visibility assumes an unobstructed horizon. Sutak and ritual timings are not provided.

The supported festival catalogue uses location-based observance rules. Events requiring unresolved special cases are left unconfirmed. Supported puja windows are calculated locally; Smarta Ekadashi fast and parana guidance is calculated where the supported rule applies. Vaishnava schedules and several festival-specific timings remain unavailable. All timings have a review status and are not universally certified across traditions.

Location access requires your browser’s permission. Coordinates are sent to this app’s calendar API to calculate your dates. Notes and preferences stay on this device.

Festival explanations and timing rules belong to our shared, versioned catalogue. The website and future app use the same calendar service. Descriptions are editorial summaries awaiting specialist review; calculations have limited independent checks.
